Burning as bright as a star, the asteroid plunged towards the ground. Kaylynn Six’s thin atmosphere fought against the falling rock, struggling to break it apart. Pieces fractured off like sparks leaping from a fire before burning up to dust.
In orbit, the battle between the Surakari Invaders and Heragul Defenders continued. Plasma fire, cannons, and missiles crisscrossed between the orbital trajectories.
An explosion blossomed from the ground as the asteroid smashed into the surface of the planet. The atmosphere burned as the fireball expanded from the point of impact. As the firestorm peaked, a second asteroid fell into the atmosphere and the grip of the planet’s gravity tugged it towards the ground.
Mor-Lin-Kai watched the devastation via a video feed from the few remaining Heragul warships in low orbit.
“How many defending warships have broken through the Surakari blockade?” the Fleet Captain asked.
“I’m seeing a Battle Cruiser, a Mackerel, and several others.”
“Order all remaining warships out now. We can stay here until they are all out or destroyed. Setup practical escape orbits for all ships and have our squadrons support those trajectories. Operation Octavius may have failed, but we can at least can get as many of our citizens out as possible.”

The most recent miniature release, The Lynx Battle Cruiser has had its 3D model released for download. This particular model, as with all other available Kalidasia miniature models can be found on our 3D Model download page.
As always, this model served as the master green for the actual Lynx Battle Cruiser and a high resolution 3D print of it was used to create the resin molds for the final miniature.

In this battle report, the Defenders of Kaylynn Six are attempting to break through the Surakari lines and make contact with the Heragul relief force. If this last offensive fails, Kaylynn Six may fall.

The Heragul Lynx Battle Cruiser is the most iconic ship in the Heragul Fleet. For most planetary systems across the Empire, this warship serves as the command ship of the system’s fleet. In larger and more important systems, Lynxes extend the command authority of the Fleet Captain and are found at almost every inhabited planet.

The Heragul Lynx Battle Cruiser is the most iconic ship in the Heragul Fleet. For most planetary systems across the Empire, this warship serves as the command ship of the system’s fleet. In larger and more important systems, Lynxes extend the command authority of the Fleet Captain and are found at almost every inhabited planet.
Heavily armored and armed, the triple fire rails can hold smaller warship’s at bay. A single turn’s barrage can cripple most frigate class vessels. The tactical challenge with this warship is to engage smaller ships one after another. Even though a critical value of five and reinforced structural integrity can absorb some damage, a Lynx under attack from three frigates at once can find itself in trouble.
The Lynx Battle Cruiser will be available for sale on June 19th 2017.
